Packed jars or spaced out jars?

I can’t decide whether I like the packed candy jar layout or the pink-spaced layout:

In photos I like the pink spaced-out look; they look more like jars. However in person I prefer the packed layout. In person, the pink spacing makes the jars look boring somehow. The packed layout looks so much more exciting! 

Some of the jars may get rearranged, too.
